Just 1 part of the barrels I wasn’t happy with, looked like a reaction but everything was spotlessly clean 
and wiped with isopropanol before paint so it was puzzling it was on both visible sides of the barrel casting…
Decided to dremel it off with a wire attachment and prep it again only to find it was in the casting so must always have been the same
So decided to stone off what I could with a stone in the dremel
It’s now much better and Sat drying in the garden
