Why?
Oh, sorry - did you finally buy a bike, is that what you are saying
That must be @Everclear as he leans that far, the falls off![]()
@Exige one day you're going to have to get your big boy pants on.

That chrome is bloody ugly innit?
Yes, that's why there's no Chrome on the bike![]()
The polished surface is as tasteful as a Harley rider with tassels ... still, if the jacket fits I suppose.
It’s all good as AndyB loves a bit of red bling.Fitted a Silicon sleeve to the top half of the Clutch Cable to prevent rubbing on full lock against the Headlamp / Fairing bracket. Also had the nipple fitted so all connected up now - just waiting for the internal clutch activation shaft to be finalised which will be soon, then I can get the clutch operating for the first time

I might change the Red shrink wrap on the bare cable to black as it's a bit too bling - I thought it might draw attention to the mechanism but it's perhaps a tad over the top

That was my initial thought...A black cable would be better looking?
Indeed, they didn't have red in 1981It would be more in keeping with its retro intent
It has lighter wheels than the original to offset itWon’t it just bunch up when you pull the clutch in
but it’s a race replica do away with it , think about the weight saving![]()
Luckily you can't as @Robarano has first dibs on yoursMight swap you for my 350LC if your bike maintains it's present standards![]()

Ordered some bespoke lamp covers yesterday, 2 or 3 week lead time, but they are made exactly to the profile and mountings used (if I got my measurements correct). They were a bit pricey
