I want to move away from Ducati for a bit
Fair play Triumph. Didn't get that from Ducati when the dash failed out of warranty on my Streetfighter. Firstly they tried to claim it was my fault for having servicing done at an unauthorised dealer - Louigi Moto who Ducati have been trying to recruit as a dealer for years, and who local dealers use when they've got a problem they don't know how to fix.Glitching TFT Dash.
Had a response from Triumph UK about my goodwill warranty claim ( warranty expired 2 1/2 years ago). After a great deal of support from Youles & a bit of email back & forth, they are covering full cost of the dash; I just have to pay for fitting. Brilliant news & service I would say, saving me £1200 + vat.
Agreed it shouldn’t have failed, but its nice to be on the receiving end of fairness.

Don’t forget how useful it might be if there’s any water needs pumping.Perfect choice @WAYNE something you can fix with your hammer and a blunt screwdriver![]()
Like a Mondrian. That little bit of red just sets off your picture![]()
Back in 1991 there were i think 3 importers who supplied the UK with new Ducati bikes. I bought a 900ss which cracked a piston after a few months of ownership. The importer i had bought from tried to blame me for using the bike in wet weather. Luckily the Baines Brothers were the in house mechanics and very good friends of a good friend of mine. They persuaded the boss otherwise.Fair play Triumph. Didn't get that from Ducati when the dash failed out of warranty on my Streetfighter. Then they said they'd pay half if I paid for fitting and they wouldn't let me keep the old dash. So it ended up costing my about £700 which by odd coincidence was what a nee one would have cost anyway ten years sgo.
No.Like a Mondrian.

This says more about you noobs ... you need to get this weird GS fetish out of your system lad ...You look at it and the first thing that pops into your mind is...it should be wearing red nipple tassels. It just look like a tarts bike, like someone from Brighton rather than Sheffield

I live on the edge. If you don't live on the edge, you are taking up too much space!I had a walk on the edge recently. Nice around there.
55 days straight with rain here every dayThe incessant rain showed no sign of abating so we got togged up and took the Blandford Forum road to Coombe Bisset, turning there for Stratford Tony and on through the valley with the chalk streams overflowing, past Berwick St John and on to Shaftesbury and home. Then the sun came out!
We are not as lucky^ Likewise here apparently it will be dry for the next three ?
I want to ride the Harley, not ridden it yet because of this shit weather!! Apparently dry from Monday to Friday, aint going to hold my breath!!^ Likewise here apparently it will be dry for the next three ?
Where does one purchase an angel grinderI've been in the garage doing some tinkering on the Harley, the seat was loose so took it off and there are some tangs that hold the bracket on. Got the seat off and the tangs are down so took the bracket off and bent tangs up with a screwdriver. Bracket back in and now it's solid.
I also need to sort the number plate out, it has a small plate in black and silver that is not legal on a 2013 bike. I have been caught for a small number plate on my 900ie and it cost me over 200 quid, Guinnesss!! They are hot on it out West Meon so i will fit the new one tomorrow, it needs to be cut down slightly for fitting, no big deal with my trusty angel grinder and thin cutting disc!!
And no i will not need a hammer!!![]()
