What have you done on your bike today?

It’s great to watch, it’s very exciting but I think that’s because you’re waiting for them to fall off or blow up
I like it, i would rather watch that then MotoGp at the moment. Looking forward to next year in MotoGp as they are banning all ride height devices and stricter rules on wings. You never know we might have exciting racing again, remember that?:)

Today i went to the garage to fit the new clutch and brake levers. I fitted the clutch lever first and what a faf, i thought Ducati did some weird shit. I had to take off the derby cover, clutch adjustment cover to loosen the clutch cable to get it off the lever. The clutch cable has a loop at the end that is held in by a plastic dowel thing, i had to get mole grips on it to get it out, the lever itself is held on by a metal pin (not a screw with a shoulder and a nut on the end!!) with the smallest circlip known to man. I got a flat screwdriver and it pinged off somewhere, i replaced it with a nut and bolt from my biscuit tin that just keeps giving.
Wayne, some important advice, mole grips and a hammer are not classed as suitable tools for mechanics, they are tools for sadistic butchers and torture fanatics🤷🏻‍♂️😇

God I hope so, but moto 3 has always been more exciting to watch ,the 125 and 250 classes more so back in the day 😁 but they are managing to fuck those up too so I’m holding my breath
Moto 3 is crazy and you know it's going to be great racing, the racing outside of track limits is a fucking joke!! I was at Misano in 2015 and they had asked Danny Kent to loose a place for racing outside track limits, It was the first time i heard of this nonsence!!

Today i went to fit the front brake lever and it doesn't fit:rolleyes: i've looked on the web and the ones on there is same lever that isn't the correct fit!! The switch gear is the correct one so i'm a bit confused, more digging me thinks. The clutch lever went straight in, anyway i got the sissy bar off and gave it a lick of paint and gave the wheels a good clean. I need to get a side stand extender for the bit you need to get your heel on to get the stand down, it's a right Guinness to get at and a common issue on Sporsters. :)

Wouldn't mind one on the road. Bin the bags and the massive fairing and just keep the 200 bhp and 165 lb of torque. Fuel consumption and service costs might be a bit of an issue though.

Today i was out and about on the Harley, lovely day but still a bit cold!! Before that i spray painted the other side of the sissy bar and a few bits on the bike. Found out last night on youtube that it's not my clutch slipping as when i give it a handfull it goes into warp speed. If the clutch was slipping i'd have no drive so it's not that, on some of the vids i've watched they say if people don't change the size of the drive spool after fitting the 1250cc big bore kit they get a bit tricky as in a handfull!! I've been pulling away in second just to make it not so violent, i'll have a look at some point, the standard one has 29T so need one with more teeth, give me something to do later.:)

Home for a week, well six days really & as usual the "list of jobs" was never ending. My neighbour came over to ask if I fancied a ride out to Bala, but I really had to get some jobs crossed off my list, so I declined. After washing my van & both cars I'd had enough so thought I'd have a quick blat out on the RS as it was the easiest to get out of the garage, but the battery was flat !! So readied the Boneshaker & went out on that instead. I really hope the latest Boneshaker is a bit more comfortable 🤞
Anyway, the RS is on charge now & tomorrow is another day !! This good weather is too nice to ignore ;)

If the new one is more comfortable, will it qualify as a boneshaker?

I see you picked Perry up 😮

Went to the dealer to drop off the G310 for an MOT & service. Came back on a slightly younger bike of the same model. This gives me the opportunity to compare side-by-side my noisy exhaust/17t front sprocket against the standard exhaust/16t sprocket.
It feels like extra work to get to a lower cruising speed on the standard bike so I am still content with my set-up.

What I am not content with is yet more fucking 40mph limits along the route compared to last year, more average speed camera areas plus a couple more 20mph bits. This is fucking ridiculous and I must seriously consider now how much longer I intend to display a registration plate

Move.

Unfortunately england is going down the same path as Wales. Dorset villages are getting 20mph zones creeping in, the villages are expanding to accommodate all the single mums, a nearby dual carriageway has been reduced to 60mph Town and village boundaries are getting 40 zones on their approach and therefore their exits. 'Traffic calming' (chicanes) and speed humps are popping up like mushrooms. Averaging cameras, speed cameras, traffic light cameras ANPR cameras, Camera vans and other surveillance . Even our own vehicles are spying on us.

We need a written constitution as opposed to the uncodified constitution that allows for all these infringements on our freedoms.

It needs a good lawyer to write something up. Any volunteers?
