What have you done on your bike today?

Spent a couple of hours up in a really cramped ceiling space runni g some extractor ducting. Killed my shoulder, which is why i am awake and posting shit on here!
Spent the hard earned on plants and seeds as spring is around the corner.
The next few days i shall be doing fuck all other than pottering in the garden and watching the back log of moto gp that ive not seen yet.
And drinking beer. And cooking.. and ive got to re-wire the trailer..

Finished off the Daytona's LED indicator conversion today ................ some years after buying the indicators !! :ROFLMAO:
First job was to get the idiot light cluster out of the console, which basically means stripping the whole thing down !

After a bit of thinking I decided to extend the two wires to the indicator idiot light, that way I'd have some length to play with rather than struggling. I cut the two wires so that the joints would be hidden in the black sleeve on the loom.

Once the two new wires were attached & pulled through, the two diodes were connected & shrink sleeve fitted over all the joints, the diodes themselves & the new bit of a loom I'd created.

With the wiring modified the idiot lights were refitted into the instrument console followed by the three clocks themselves, the speedo, rev counter & temperature gauge.

Then after refitting all that lot back onto the bike I stood back to admire my handywork ! :ROFLMAO:
The new indicators are hardly noticeable now compared to the original big square jobbies the bike came with & almost make the bike look a bit more modern I think.

My Dominator can has arrived - it seems very well made, much better than the last cheap can I bought (Scorpion for my S1000RR…was crap and replaced it with an Akra)
Not super light as stainless steel, but prob 2-3kg less than the 2 silencers that will be coming off.

I’m supposed to be off work today and tomorrow but been in the office from before 7am tidying up stuff…was hoping to go on the bike to the Lakes but there’s been flooding. Might still go on it if it brightens up, but won’t have time to put the can on.

Using the words 'flooding' and 'the lakes' in the same sentence - what wizardry is this 🤔🤣

Stuck a Speedo Angels screen protector to my Diavel's screen.
It seems to me that almost regardless of how clean and dust free you get the screen, as soon as you take the film off the adhesive side of the protector it attracts dust making it very difficult to get a perfect dirt/bubble free application.
It's not terrible, but I bought two protectors so I might give it another go...or maybe not.

I can never get a phone screen dust free so well done on anything not including house bricks 👍🤣
