What have you done on your bike today?

Wasn’t looking forward to building the pannier locks but all done and fitted 🥵

Come on exi, the aluminium top loading Hepco and Becker would have been so much better ( and looking cool ) 😱
Nah, they would be wider with the racks - Ali top box on back order as it will be used more on its own and these will only be used on trips away. I hate the all Ali look - it’s just silly 🤷‍♂️

Side load panniers aren't a patch on top load .. but its only relevant on bigger trips where you need a lot of gear with you, I've done a weekend on just the 44 litre top box 🤔

Hmmm, full black aluminium or silver black? Good thing we don’t all like the same eh, can you imagine a world with only bimotas 😱😇

I've got inner bags that lift out with shoulder straps so I can just sworray to the hotel receptions 🥳

I've owned both and both had bags .. you will not squeeze anything as hard as a bag going into a top loaded pannier 😆 for a change an actual motorcycle related review , this is an Oxford roamer top box .. at 220 euro it was very reasonable for here and i got it for doing a trip with the wife next month as its bigger than the standard BMW one ... its a surprise on quality and finish its very good value for money.. it aluminium powder coated . I thought it was going to be plastic for the money 👌

Absolutely - I can’t think of one benefit.

This new can is the best addition I’ve made to a bike, and it was only £200 including the VAT on import.

It sounds fantastic - you can feel the reduced weight (6kg including the servo motor and cables) especially in low speed bends and around town. And it feels sharper.

The OEM set up must cost a packet, weighs loads so adds to fuel consumption, and does nothing except stifle the bike and give a worse sound. Just looked up the official replacement cost for the parts I’ve removed and it’s over £2k - prob adds a grand to the cost of the bike in the showroom. Replaced with a £200 can and £70 eliminator.
Can you post a sound clip?
