Well chap, firstly congratulations. (y)

Secondly, being a grandparent is something quite special. You often get time to spend on grand kids that you couldn't on the kids because you were busy raising them.

If ever you needed something to get yourself motivated to get your shit sorted out and make you feel better about yourself, a grand kid is one hell of a motivator

Congrats dude (y)

Dusted the olde girl off, switched the trickle charger OFF, topped the battery up & took it out to blow the cobwebs away ......... & there were a few !! ;)
This sun we're currently being blessed with is too much to ignore, sod decorating our bedroom !! ;)

I am so happy to hear the news, i love my son and his other half and can't wait to see the gift of life, it will be something speicial!!
My eldest daughter who I have had no contact with for years recently gave birth to a baby boy. I’m sort of a granddad I suppose, I get updates from her Nan and granddad who I’m close to.
As Noobs has said this wonderful news may be the kick up the arse you need.

No, looks like it's going to take nearly as long as your epic !! ;):ROFLMAO:
Come off it, you're already way past a year on the bedroom 🤷‍♂️ I did my new dinning room that you mention in 4 weeks, including bricking up the fireplace, totally gutting the room, strengthening the floor joists for the pool table and laying an oak floor 😇

Yeah, totally agree. Our first grandie came along when Jo was having treatment for cancer, she had a brand new boy to adore and it took her mind off the nasty chemo and then radio after, over a period of 5-6 months. I am convinced that positivity played a part in her recovery process. We are lucky to have 6 of them very close by and see them all the time.

They look adorable.

“How much for the little girl?” *

* (Just for clarity, I don’t actually want to buy the little girl, I’m just trying to jocularly interject and quote The Blues Brothers).
