What have you done on your bike today?

Today i went down to the garage and superglued the rubber carb manifold and fitted it and all is fine. I went to the garage next to Loomies and got myself an ici lolly, checked the manifold and all good, then i went to Winchester to Greggs for a sausage roll then the bank to pay some cash in. That bloody wind is freezing, we have had it for 2 weeks now with no let up into next week, it's coming from the east, it's great sitting down somewhere in the sun but cold on the bike. I then rode to Sainsbury's for a proper shop as i have no food then home to drop that off then to Tesco and after that i went along Western shore then home. Got home and there is a package from Hitchcocks, my free carb manifold, the repaired one is fine so i will stick with it for now as i know i have a new one to fit in due course.:)

This afternoon I had to get some fork oil and pick my G’daughter so I went the long way round

Today i rode the Enfield to Halfords to pick up a can of XCP Multipurpose spray, i ran out of WD40 yesterday and i was watching a video on Edd China's channel on youtube and he is sponsored by XCP. I have heard it's good stuff along with there other products so ordered a tin last night, with my Halfords trade card £4.🥳 It's cheaper than WD40, let's face it WD40 is just a brand and there are better products out there. When i worked for LAWSON H.I.S we would get the Rocol rep coming round the shop with new Rocol products and some freebees. That was one of the perks of the job, we used to get loads of free stuff, we would get free boots and t-shirts, jackets etc. Anyway, i rode out to the garage next to Loomies for an ice lolly then some shopping and home. Lovely day but we still have that cold wind, hey ho!!:)

Today I rode the Interceptor 126 miles to visit two more venues on the #bikeandbrewpassport event. Got a stamp in my passport at the Canalside Cafe in Talybont On Usk, and another at the Old Railway Line Garden Centre cafe near Brecon. That was my eight and ninth stamps so far. On the way back home, popped in to the Owl's Nest for a cold drink and a catch up with Ian Marquis - the legend!

Today i had to go into town on the Enfield:rolleyes: i had no choice, not been there for some time and god what a fucking shit show!! Spot the white man compitition and try to hear somebody speaking English, i feel for the native children that will have to grow up in this new environment!!
Anyway i managed to get in and out in 20 minutes then a ride out to Loomies garage for a can of Sprite, then i rode to my local Tesco for some bits then home. When i got home i had to fill out a form online from the personal injury solicitors, if i win any damages it will only cost me £90 out of my compensation. I took a call from them yesterday and it was all explianed to me, when they go through the form they are going to give me a call for a bit of fine tuning.;)
Edit: It's the injuries i had last year when my 900ie got written off and i broke my wrist, slight fracture in my back and a small fracture in my left foot.

At ten O'clock this morning a group of 5 of us met up for a ride out, despite the "fuelled up and ready to go" memo there was still the one who needed to sy=top for fuel.
We picked up the A30 at Sherborne and followed it through Yeovil for a petrol stop then on to Cricket St Thomas where we stopped at the golf course for coffee. The on to Exeter which we (unwisely) drove through the middle of and down a fantastic lane to Moretonhampstead and on through Dartmoor to Tavistock. (we had the sun behind us all the way) where we stopped at the pannier market for lunch. Then we headed back via Widecombe and Haytor, with stunning views
time was pressing on so we picked up the A38, A30, and A35 down to Bridport, called in at West Bay for a coffee then Abbotsbury, Dorchester and home by 19.00hrs,( with the sun behind us all the way back).
Another great day 😁

He loves it, The bloke on it is moi, I rode it from Tavistock. It would be greatly improved with a bigger tank, the tank that you see is pseudo the pipe from the filler goes to a tank under the seat and has to be filled very slowly or glugs back out. A 1200cc bike with cruise control and a 13 litre tank 🤣. It was a lot quieter than the Spitfire and a smooth comfortable ride.
