Today i went in the garage to do i few bits on the Harley, i managed to get the battery out and yes it's a faff. I was going to put the lithium battery in but as it turns out a JMT VTB-3 is in fact a lihium battery, so i now have it on charge as it was low on juice. I then went up to the flat and watched the MOTOGP high lights, i will not say what happened in case of a spoiler!!
Why? What could happen?
There are so many warning stickers over everything now that we tend to ignore them. When it comes to lithium we ignore them at our peril.
Bloody hell I never realized lithium batteries were so bad , I’m never ever buying one or a Harley

Good race? I watched it but b and a mate decided they wanted to watch it as well , then yacked all the way through it. This and I was pretty pissed means I dont remember a great deal.. Yeah it was a good race for a change, i only watch the highlights but i rekon it's going to be a good season this year? Looking forward to next year as ride height devices are going to be banned and a restriction on wings. Still waiting for Honda to reveal a V4 bike but as we know Honda are so cloak and dagger the sly bastids!!
I for one cannot wait for the revival of the RVF750! Will it be competitive though? Went on the hyper a few years back....about 90 odd mins to do that one....the killer was the 230nm torque setting.... (cue bouncing on an [extended with a scaffold pole] torque wrench.!
Insane so it is, i had to get used to forword controls again and the pegs are fucking useless, my foot on the rear brake peg just kept slipping off!! It also has a slipping clutch so when i got back i realised there is zero play in the clutch cable so loosend that off when i got home. It's meant to be nice weather up to Thursday so i will be out tomorrow to see if the clutch is any better!!
I also stuck some black cloth tape on the pegs so hope that will sort my foot from slipping off. The mirrors are fucking useless like the 996, all you can see is your elbows, i also moved the handle bars back a bit as they were to far forward. All in all it was just great to get out after being bikeless for 7 months, bloody marvelous!!
