I truly feel for you. Just went thru this with my mom, she was 77 when she passed in late Feburary. She was nonviolent until the last year. She tried to punch the medical responders when we needed ambulance to get her to hospital. Very disturbing to see someone you know change, not physically so much, but mental breakdown and the anger. Now my dad is alone and I think it is accelerating the alheimers for him and he refuses to leave the home he and mom have had for nearly 50 years. He is now refusing to get his physical issues fixed(been using a cathator to piss since Xmas. He is obsessed in cleaning and throwing everything he does not immediately need/use so my sister and I dont have to do it once he is gone. The disease effects each person a little different. Stay strong and dont be afraid to ask for help if needed
I had to paint my first council flat, fucking hate painting, it makes me loose the will to live!!I remember when I moved in here. Three solid days hard painting, a pain in the arse I could have done without. Especially as the painter was one of those types that wouldn't stop talking. Blinking tradesmen, tut
A couple of simple words I use on site with these tradiesI remember when I moved in here. Three solid days hard painting, a pain in the arse I could have done without. Especially as the painter was one of those types that wouldn't stop talking and even worse, he was a west ham fan. Blinking tradesmen, tut
My site hate is radios. Why do so many tradesmen find it impossible to get on with the job without background noise of inane juvenile chatter and mindlessly repetitive music? It's like psychological torture. It doesn't make the day go quicker, it makes it drag. And if you need the time to pass quicker because you can't wait for the day to end, or if your attention span is so short that you can't apply 100% to what you're supposed to be doing without a noise distraction, you're in the wrong job.A couple of simple words I use on site with these tradies
" I fucking hate soccer" .... it stops them for a couple of hours at least from talking about the drivel sportyour welcome
That doesn't bother me as long as their is absolutely no news or shit chat showsMy site hate is radios. Thanks to my Scotchland bretheren, I shall partake in a celebratory drink or two in remembrance.

I cycled to work today for the first time this year
Half way up a very very steep hill I felt a bit light headed so decided to stop and have a banana. I looked to my left and feck me, it's The Teletubbies!
Still there after my banana so not a dodgy mushroom fueled apparition.
They are smaller than i expected and no they were not far away.
Enjoy the drinks both of youWe are now hammered out getting bbq. Lady K is wasted. Thanks.View attachment 160962

I thought that was what @The skitz was having me drink. Best I can remember anyway. Barely made it home without incident. Lady K has now become aquainted with The Kraken and life will never be the same again. Don't fak with the Kraken, fafo. Those of you who know, know we're lightweights, unlike most of you seasoned veterans.Cheers RA5!
But…Red Bull?![]()
I can suggest you try some single malt whisky, Glenmorangie is the one i would drink back in the day. I don't do spirits anymore just Guinness and cider and i avoid Vodka like the plague!!I thought that was what @The skitz was having me drink. Best I can remember anyway. I'm not a fan of etoh, but will partake socially and on special occasions. I am lucky and blessed with my father's ability to rarely overindulge. Maybe after I'm done with work I'll experiment though not likely. There's something to be said for being of sound mind.I can suggest you try some single malt whisky, Glenmorangie is the one i would drink back in the day. I’ve been in Ireland for the last two weeks with my
Godfather who has convinced me to transfer my degree over to civil engineering and he took me there as he says Ireland is the civil engineering capital of the world.
He told me to take a hard hat, hi viz, work boots and my guitar as he was going to introduce me to some right characters.
Oh yes we had lots of fun in the pubs and I can now play and sing the Irish rover and wild rover
I have also been doing my Nvq level 7 which a lot of it I already have so should have that done within a few months.
I can then
Get a huge belly bad tattoos and start shouting at blokes that walk by whilst whistling at themcan’t wait
