Do you mean, what Ireland contributes to the EU in totality is equivalent to 75% of our customs take? Or, we give 75% to the EU regardless of how much is collected?

Not that it really matters coz it’s outside my control and I suspect you might just be a Russian agent provocateur agitating to stir up trouble and get an Eirexit 😉🤣

Imagine you weren't in the eu Paul and instead aligned with the U.K. You'd still have a country of fuckbucket motorcycles but you'd be able to get some nice ones too :D

🤣 this country spent over 800 years trying to unshackle itself from the UK (read England), I can’t see it going back that way anytime soon.

If you need proof that the NHS is working in the interests of the pharmaceutical industry, then ask yourself why we have NHS adverts on tv whilst they are so overloaded that some services have 12 months or longer wait times.

Pal of mine who’s in his mid 40’s recently had his third stroke (convid jabbed BTW). He has 4 kids, 2 under 5yo. He can’t speak since this last stroke about 5 weeks ago.

To see a specialist he’s been told there is currently an 11 month wait. To go private it’ll be a couple of weeks…probably ti see the same doctor. A doctor who will be paid a salary by the NHS, but basically moonlights as a private doctor. WTF is wrong with that picture?

To see the quack privately won’t mean an out of hours appointment - so how can they find time amid their oh-so-busy paid-for-by-the-public day ti earn a few extra quid on the side?

And these people used to be held in high esteem.

I'm online with my Medical Records website, i had a blood test the other day and got a email to see the result, it was in swahili, no idea what the fuck it meant!!?? 🤷‍♂️

I'm glad I'm on the rite side of that equation 🤔 it's the same here my wife only seen a consultant last Tuesday and she had surgery Thursday normal wait could be 2 years only shorter if cancer is a factor 😔

I’ve no issue with the private system - used it myself in the past when needed and would do it again if necessary.
If doctors and specialists were told ‘between these hours, you work for the NHS’ and they did private outside those hours, fine, go for it.
But when you can get ti see them in the middle of the day at a few hours notice if paying cash, but could be months if you can’t afford that (even though we pay for the service year in, year out though taxes), something ain’t right.
As a private patient, if the only time I could access that attention was say, 10pm, that wouldn’t deter me. And the quack would still earn their extra money. Fine by me.
But when NHS waiting times are getting critical, in part because docs and specialists are doing private work (moonlighting) during hours they should be beholden to the NHS, it’s wrong.

Two lines jumped out at me;

“1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime”
and
“Together, we’re beating cancer”

Surely prevention is better than cure, and they’re obviously by their own admission not doing that.

Like with all pharma driven companies, prevention must be their scariest thought. Where would they be if people stopped getting sick?

RFK Jr, Trump's new health secretary, wants to get ultra-processed food out of the American diet and take on the toxic food and medicine companies that are making Americans sick with addictions, cancer, T2 diabetes and obesity.

Same companies are on the media constantly to tell the world this guy is crazy, he's dangerous and he's got to go. I wonder why..?

Only a few years ago, the figure was 1 in 3 of us will get cancer in our lifetimes.
