Swapped the Optimiser over from the KTM to the Diavel. I didn't wash the Diavel before putting it away. It was only summer road dust and bug splats but the splats have gone white and mouldy. Itching to get it out into the sunlight, give it a good wash and polish and get out on it.

Heavy rain today. Hopefully it'll wash the salt off the roads and they'll not put any more down. If so I'll tax the Diavel this month. But I won't hold my breath. You often see grit lorries out in early May up here. Feckers.

Had a few hours out back to back which was interesting.

The Duc at 3 figures feels like the Speedie at 80 - the fairing does a great job of smoothing it out. But reminded me why the s1000rr was dangerous ti my licence.
The Speedie is so fast when you get back on it. Needs new pads when they sort out the ABS in a couple of weeks.

Oh, and the Testastretta sounds like a skeleton wanking vigorously in a biscuit tin under 4000 rpm 😁

Today i was going to go out on the Harley as it's meant to be dry sunny but a bit cold. I was about to go out and then it pissed down, so change of plans, i ordered new front and clutch levers that i recieved over the weekend. The brake lever doesn't fit but i can sort it with a hammer but decided not to and i'm sending them back!! The one's that are on it are to much on the bling side for me, the new ones i got them from Wemoto that are meant to be good. (n) I then sorted the wear and tear bits, my ocd kicking in, i had a good look at it for the first time and yeah it has had a shit load of money spent on it. I'm going to take the metal twisted sissy bar off and give it a respray as the paint is flaking off it, i have loads of black spray cans so no money needed for that job.:)
It's meant to be raining tomorrow so it will be dry sunny and 50 degrees, useless Guinnesss!!
Just throw the sissybar in the bin, would be a huge upgrade 👀😇

Another good weather day 13 degrees and sunny after a frosty start. It seemed rude not to take advantage of it so we rode out called in on a mate then went and took some photos of this. Any want to identify it? They have installed mobile phone antennas around the top storey.

Horton Tower, Chalbury Common. I had to double check. I get that one confused with King Alfred's Tower at Stourton.
Fine example of the bricklayer's craft. Can the public visitv these days or is it a cheeky walk across the fields?

Yep otherwise known as Sturt’s Folly.

There is no signage saying you can or can’t walk around it but it’s locked to protect the Vodaphone gubbins inside.

Today i went to the garage to fit the new clutch and brake levers. I fitted the clutch lever first and what a faf, i thought Ducati did some weird shit. I had to take off the derby cover, clutch adjustment cover to loosen the clutch cable to get it off the lever. The clutch cable has a loop at the end that is held in by a plastic dowel thing, i had to get mole grips on it to get it out, the lever itself is held on by a metal pin (not a screw with a shoulder and a nut on the end!!) with the smallest circlip known to man. I got a flat screwdriver and it pinged off somewhere, i replaced it with a nut and bolt from my biscuit tin that just keeps giving.
