When an organisation is owned and run by a mafia, what does anyone expect?Or...effective senior management...there are layers and layers of middle managers who seem to create more havoc than solving any issues.
And the financial side supports rampant profiteering. Just as an example, some wound care products are cheaper at high street pharmacies than what the NHS pays. And more effective items are discouraged from being used if they are more expensive, which leads to extended (and often never) healing...more hospital or home visits etc. False economy.
Corruption, grift and a desire to avoid accountability no matter the size of the resulting body count.
The NHS is a mirror to our "political establishment". Pure & unblemished, a true reflection.
